Real Madrid join race for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Real Madrid have joined Barcelona in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer, according to OK Diario.

Interest from Los Blancos is said to be driven by new boss Zinedine Zidane, with the Frenchman keen on a deal for his compatriot.

The 23-year-old is out of contract in the French capital and has not featured for the first-team in over three months with the club refusing to play him until his situation is resolved.

Previous reports have claimed Barca attempted to sign the midfielder for €40m last summer but talks broke down and now the midfielder is in exile at the Parisian club.

Whilst Rabiot would not cost a transfer fee for his new club, he would require a hefty signing-on fee in the region of €15m alongside a bumper contract, according to the report.
