Barcelona – the only Spanish team remaining in the Champions League – will face Manchester United in the quarter-final of this season’s competition.
The winners of the tie will face the victors of Liverpool against FC Porto at the semi-final stage of the competition.
The first leg of the quarter-final will be switched to United’s Old Trafford stadium, as they cannot play at home in the same game-week as city neighbours Manchester City.
Barca are hopeful of reaching the last four of the competition for the first time in four seasons – when they last lifted the trophy in 2015 – and were eliminated at this stage by Roma last campaign.
The Blaugrana defeated Lyon 5-1 in the Round of 16, while United reached this stage of the tournament by famously eliminating Paris Saint-Germain 3-3 on aggregate.
All ties to be played 9-10 April and 16-17 April.
