Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari has issued a warning to any of his stars that are currently under performing, following their recent poor run of results.
Solari's side have exited the Copa del Rey and Champions League in the past fortnight, and they could end the weekend 15 points adrift of La Liga leaders Barcelona.
The former Argentina international's position has been called into question of late, with rumours circulating that he will be replaced in the summer. However his players have also been on the receiving end of criticsim, and he acknowledged this in his Saturday press conference.
'I think most players have performed at the level required.
"Those who have not, I have spoken to."
Despite the negativity surrounding the club currently, Solari called on his players to show what they are made of, ahead of their trip to Real Valladolid on Sunday.
"In times of adversity, character is shown.
"In these situations you see what players are about, and who stands up and tries to improve the situation."
