Gareth Bale’s agent has called the Real Madrid fans who whistled the player during Saturday’s El Clasico defeat as “a disgrace.”
The Welshman made only his third start in the last nine matches but failed to make an impact for Los Blancos, who lost the encounter 1-0.
Bale was whistled when he made his way off the pitch as a second half substitute and his agent Jonathan Barnett has now spoken out against the boos.
“The fans are a disgrace,” Barnett told ESPN FC.
“They will be speaking about him and his goals for years to come. The press are also a disgrace, but less important.”
