Real Madrid rising star Vinicius Junior is adamant that his side are ‘not scared’ of facing Barcelona star Lionel Messi: “We are ready for all tests.”
The two fierce rivals are set to face each other in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final on Wednesday before another edition of El Clasico comes on Saturday in a league clash.
“Messi is incredible, he can do things that no other player can, but we are not scared of him,” Vinicius wrote on his social media account.
“We are ready for all tests that are going to come to us, we know we have the best players in the world.”
Vinicius joined Madrid this summer in a €45m deal from Flamengo with his playing style drawing comparisons to a young Messi.
