Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has sacked his agent – who is also a mum – allegedly for blocking his move to Barcelona, report Diario Sport.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at the French champions in June and has been linked with several top European clubs, including a move to the Camp Nou.
The report claims Barca attempted to sign the midfielder for €40m last summer but talks broke down and now the midfielder is in exile at the Parisian club.
The Catalan giants were strongly linked to Rabiot this summer but instead signed Arthur Melo and Arturo Vidal to replace the outgoing Andres Iniesta and Paulinho, while they have a deal in place to sign Frenkie de Jong from Ajax in an €86m deal.
Sport say several English and Italian clubs are also interested in the midfielder, but there have been no meetings and a quick solution is unlikely due to his financial demands.
