Real Madrid concern at Marcos Llorente injury

Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente sustained an injury in Wednesday night’s Copa del Rey semi-final draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

The central midfielder had to be replaced by Casemiro in the second half of the 1-1 stalemate with Diario AS reporting a thigh injury which is concerning Madrid.

Coach Santiago Solari introduced the 23-year-old into his line-up over the recent months to replace the injured Casemiro, with his performances widely heralded.

Llorente had been in line for a January loan move to Basque club Alaves but this was scrapped due to his performances, although he sustained an adductor injury in training at the start of January.
