Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is keen to one day be reunited with former teammate Neymar but stressed the comments were ‘hypothetical’.
The two stars linked up over three seasons at the Camp Nou between 2014 and 2017, forming a fearsome attacking trident with Lionel Messi.
However, Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain in a world record €222m fee 18 months ago but there have been suggestions he could one day return to the Blaugrana.
“You can never rule anything out in football,” Suarez is cited as saying by Diario Sport.
“Neymar is playing very well in Paris and he is scoring a lot of goals, so you need to consider that.
“I want to play alongside the best players in the world and he is a friend of mine, but this is a hypothetical debate.”
