Barcelona are keen to add Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Todibo to their squad this month and not wait until the summer, report ESPN FC.
Todibo is into the final six months of his contract at Toulouse and the agreed deal with Barca will see him remain in France this campaign before moving to the Camp Nou in July.
The report claims the 19-year-old wants a move this month, as do Barca – who believe it will aid his development, while Toulouse may look to cash in.
Having started his career as a midfielder, Todibo has made 10 starts for his club in Ligue 1 this season in the heart of defence.
However, the defender has not featured since the start of November when fresh contractual negotiations broke down and he has been ostracised by the Ligue 1 club.
