Lionel Messi will return to captain Barcelona against Girona tomorrow, after being rested for their midweek Copa del Rey defeat to Sevilla.
Messi has not started either of Barcelona's last two games, after making a goal scoring impact off the bench in their last league game against Leganes, and being rested for the Sevilla trip.
Messi will start in the Catalan derby at the Municipal Montilivi, and he will be joined by Sergio Busquets – who captained the side in Messi's absence against Leganes – but was also rested for the Copa quarter final tie.
French international Ousmane Dembele is ruled out with an ankle injury, and defender Jeison Murillo misses out from the last match day squad.
