Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone insists his team are clicking in attack after netting six goals across their last two matches.
Los Rojiblancos ran out 3-0 winners at Huesca on Saturday in La Liga after being held to a 3-3 draw by Girona during the week – a result which saw them exit the Copa del Rey.
“Our level of play is very high and we are creating lots of chances,” Simeone insisted to reporters after the game, in quotes carried by Marca.
“This has been my message since our game against Sevilla, the attack is playing well together – even in our Copa match against Girona we scored three times, so I have no concerns.
“This gives me plenty of positivity because we are now being consistent, and we now have momentum and enthusiasm going into each game.
“This season was always going to present us with many difficulties and it is true we have had a lot of injuries, but hopefully players will recover soon and we can go on with a complete squad.”
