Real Betis linked with Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron

Real Betis have joined the race to sign Atlanta United midfielder and Paraguayan international Miguel Almiron, say reports.

The 24-year-old was key in helping his side to the 2018 MLS title and has been widely linked with a move to Euroepan football in January.

Almiron, who has scored 22 goals in MLS since arriving from Lanus in 2017, has been reported to be interesting English duo Arsenal and Newcastle United.

Paraguayan outlet D10 has reported on the linked to the Seville-based club, where his international teammate Antonio Sanabria is playing.

The link to Los Verdiblancos first emerged in El Gol Digital while Atalanta reportedly will request €28m for their in-demand star.
