Barcelona could complete the cut-price signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot for €5m in January, reports Diario AS.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at the French champions in June and has been linked with several top European clubs, including the Blaugrana.
Earlier this month, there were reports that the central midfielder had already agreed terms with the Catalan giants were reported Le Parisien at first and verified by El Mundo Deportivo.
The Frenchman’s contractual situation has led to reports he could leave the French capital in a cut-price deal this January, or for free next summer.
PSG are said to be keen to offload the player at the nearest possible date as they have no plans to reinstate him into their first-team as he has no intention of renewing his deal on their terms.
The Catalan giants were strongly linked to Rabiot this summer but instead signed Arthur Melo and Arturo Vidal to replace the outgoing Andres Iniesta and Paulinho.
