Santiago Solari is unconcerned by reports linking the out-of-work Jose Mourinho with a future return to Real Madrid.
Mourinho guided Madrid to the 2012 La Liga title and three successive Champions League semi-finals but left amid a cloud of controversy and fallouts with high-profile players.
“I have the utmost admiration and respect for all my fellow Coaches,” Solari told reporters on Tuesday, as cited by Diario AS.
“They do an exceptional job and this feeling is particularly strong to those who have previously been at this club and given us lots of happy memories.
“Why would be I worried that there is speculation about Real Madrid? It happens every day but that is the reality.
“What are my values? Those of Real Madrid, I want to have a team who can dominate, who can be a threat in attacking areas, score a lot of goals, never give up.
“We must work very hard across all departments, technically, methodologically and also physically.”
