Jordi Alba insists Barcelona players have ‘no problem’ with Ousmane Dembele (pictured) while Carles Alena revealed ‘he apologised to the entire squad’.
The French forward has made the headlines for both the right and wrong reasons consistently this season, with several reports of disciplinary misdemeanours.
“There has never been any problems with Dembele in the squad,” Alba told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“He is a really important player for us and yes, off the pitch he could improve, like a lot of young players, but we are very happy with him.”
Young Barca midfielder Carles Alena added this week: “The players have to look after him (Dembele) because he has apologised to the entire squad.
“He will not be late anymore, he will fix his mistakes and we cannot kill him for this.”
