Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has signed a new four-year contract at Chelsea until 2022, the club have confirmed.
The versatile defender has made a total of 298 appearances for the West London club since joining from Ligue 1 side Marseille in 2012.
Azpilicueta's previous deal at Stamford Bridge was due to expire in 2020 after he signed a three-and-a-half-year contract extension in 2016.
“I’m delighted to remain blue until 2022,” wrote Azpiliecueta on Twitter.
“Since my arrival in 2012, my wish has been to give the best of me and fight for this club. Now more than ever I feel the responsibility to help make this family more successful.”
The 29-year-old has won 25 caps for the Spanish national team.
