Ousmane Dembele and Barcelona ‘do not want transfer’

Ousmane Dembele has no intention of leaving Barcelona in January while the club are not considering a sale, report ESPN FC.

The Frenchman has been beset with various reports of disciplinary issues, with Luis Suarez recently stating he should ‘take more responsibilities’ while Gerard Pique insisted his teammates ‘must help him adapt’.

The 21-year-old reported went AWOL earlier this month with alleged stomach problems while Diario AS reported the club were concerned he had developed a ‘gaming addiction’.

However, despite falling out-of-favour with Coach Ernesto Valverde’s first-team selection, ESPN report there are no intentions from either side for a transfer.

Dembele cost €145m from Borussia Dortmund last year but has suffered from injury problems alongside other alleged off-field difficulties.

Despite this, the former Rennes forward has netted five La Liga goals this term including last equalising goals at Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid in recent weeks.
