Real Madrid agree record-breaking Adidas deal – reports

Real Madrid have agreed a record-breaking kit deal with Adidas worth a total of €1,100m according to a report in Marca.

The deal will see Los Blancos net a minimum of €110m per season over the next years but this could rise as high as €150m if trophies are won in those campaigns.

This would more than double Madrid’s current kit sponsorship deal of €52m per season with the German manufacturer.

Marca try to put this into context by stating €110m is the total sum of money shelled out to 21 NBA basketball teams in the United States combined by the company.

Manchester United were the highest club prior to this deal with €85m per year while Barcelona are said to make €83m per season with Nike.
