Real Madrid are scouting Velez Sarsfield winger Matias Vargas with a view to signing him next year, according to reports in Spain.
Diario AS say the European champions have received overwhelmingly positive reports on the 21-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 59 first-team appearances for the Argentine club.
The report states the player is excited for the opportunity of a move to European football and has previously stated he is a supporter of English club Arsenal.
Vargas regularly plays on the left-wing for Velez and won his first international cap for Argentina last month against Guatemala.
