Real Madrid have been handed an injury boost with scans revealing no further injury damaged to Gareth Bale, say reports in Spain.
Cope report the Welshman underwent an MRI scan on Monday morning following an injury sustained in Saturday night’s Madrid derby draw against Atletico.
However, the 28-year-old has been cleared of any further image in his abductor and should return to the squad next weekend.
It was Bale’s 20th muscular injury across his five seasons in Madrid’s capital so he will be relieved that there is no further damage following the tweak.
The former Tottenham forward has not been included in Julen Lopetegui’s squad for their trip to CSKA Moscow this midweek along with Sergio Ramos.
