Luis Suarez: Philippe Coutinho ‘changed game’ for Barcelona

Luis Suarez praised Philippe Coutinho for ‘changing the game’ as Barcelona came back to beat Real Sociedad after the Brazilian’s introduction.

“The atmosphere was very hot, but we have to adapt to everything,” said the No 9 after his side’s 2-1 victory at the new-look Anoeta.

“We were able to overcome it and we have to remember that in matches like these, Leagues are won.

“We came back last season too and this win gives all of us confidence. The intention was always to have the ball and create space.

“In the second half, Coutinho did very well when he came on and he was decisive in the match. He changed it.

“We came back out with plenty of desire. We’re all here to help the team and to return from the international break with a win is very good.

“At the end of the first half I talked to the referee about a controversial incident. It’s good that you can talk to them.

“Ter Stegen is the best goalkeeper in the world and shows it with the saves he makes.”
