Madrid’s Vinicius scores twice and bitten

Vinicius Junior was in the thick of the action for Real Madrid Castilla against Atletico Madrid, scoring twice and being bitten by an opponent.

The Brazilian teenager, who arrived at the Bernabeu from Flamengo in a €45m summer deal, was the star of the show for Castilla but also was a victim of the fierce rivalry between the clubs.

Atletico Madrid B captain Tachi was captured by TV footage of attempting to bite the back of Vinicius’s head when the two were duelling for the ball.

Vinicius has now appeared in both Castilla team, coached by former Madrid player Santiago Solari, and netted both his side’s goals in the opening half hour of Sunday’s clash.
