Barcelona have completed the signing of Uruguay Under-20 captain Ronaldo Araujo in a deal worth €5m, it has been confirmed.
The central defender has arrived from Montevideo-based Boston River with the initial cost of the deal at €1.7m, while he will link up with Barca B initially.
The 19-year-old has made 27 appearances in the Uruguayan top flight having started his career at second tier side Rentistas.
