Manchester United have turned their interest to Barcelona central defender Yerry Mina as an alternative to signing Harry Maguire, say reports.
Diario Sport say the Colombian international has emerged as a more affordable option for the Red Devils, who have been put off by Leicester City’s €70m valuation of Maguire.
The Blaugrana paid Palmeiras €11.6m for Mina in January, but he has played just five times for the Spanish champions.
The 23-year-old netted three goals in the World Cup as he impressed with Colombia and he has been linked to a host of clubs this summer including Manchester United and Everton.
It is believed a deal could be struck for Mina in the region of €30m.
