Bellerin rubbishes Arsenal exit talk

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has rubbished speculation that he could leave the club this summer and stated: “I don’t want to be anywhere else.”

The 23-year-old has had long-term links to Barcelona and Manchester City but he has asserted that he has no plans to leave the Gunners, whom he joined from Barca aged 18.

“I get asked about my future all the time and it’s crazy,” Bellerin told reporters.

“A few years ago I signed a very long-term contract at this club and I have never said I want to play anywhere else because I’m very happy in London and playing for Arsenal.

“This club has made me who I am and the club who has given me the chance to be the footballer who I am today.

“I don’t want to be anywhere else.”

Bellerin has made 162 first-team appearances for Arsenal, scoring seven goals.
