Barcelona are aiming for their fourth La Liga title in five seasons after securing the Spanish title last May, we take a look at some of their key dates this season.
The Blaugrana begin their campaign at home to Alaves before clashes with newly-promoted Real Valladolid and Huesca.
Indeed, Ernesto Valverde’s side don’t face any of last season’s top eight sides until a trip to Valencia on matchday 8 – pencilled in for 7 October.
That trip to the Mestalla directly leads to clashes at home to both Sevilla and Real Madrid, with with the return El Clasico at the Bernabeu on 3 March.
The Blaugrana face Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on matchday 13 (25 November) with the return match at the Camp Nou on matchday 31 (7 April).
Barca’s final five games sees them take on Alaves, Levante, Celta Vigo, Getafe and Eibar.
