Cadiz look set to sign Toronto midfielder Ager Aketxe on a loan deal with an option to buy, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The 24-year-old only joined the Canadian club in February from Athletic Bilbao but now looks set to return to Cadiz, whom he spent the second half of the 2016/17 campaign on loan at.
The former Spain Under-20 international made only 14 La Liga appearances during his four-year stint in the first-team squad at Athletic, which was offset by injury problems.
Aketxe made just 14 appearances for Toronto but reports in Marca say the move should be completed this week.
