Lewandowski drops Madrid hint?

Robert Lewandowski has opened the door to a possible exit from Bayern Munich by stating ‘I don’t want to play in the same league forever’.

The 29-year-old striker has long been linked with a potential summer switch to Real Madrid and recently switched agents to Pini Zahavi, fuelling reports of a move.

“I’ve already said that I don’t want to play in the same league forever, that’s for sure: but don’t know my future right now,” Lewandowski told The Players’ Tribune.

“The market? For now I’m not thinking about it, but I’m 29 and I know I can still play for many more years if I don’t hurt myself.”

The Poland international joined the Bavarians from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has since netted 151 goals in 195 appearances, winning four successive league titles.
