Vinicius Junior believes wearing Real Madrid’s shirt is ‘priceless’ and insists he is ‘familiar’ to the pressure and responsibility the move will bring.
The 17-year-old Brazil youth international will join Madrid from Flamengo this summer, a year after the clubs reached a €45m agreement for the transfer.
“Wearing the shirt of Real Madrid will be priceless,” Vinicius told an interview with Marca.
“I do not think about the transfer fee or anything like that, my only thought is about playing, improving and enjoying myself.
“I cannot explain the happiness that came over me when I signed my contract with Madrid, every player wants to play at the top and now I have that opportunity.
“I will be familiar to the pressure and responsibility having come through the youth system at Flamengo and playing for Brazil’s youth teams.
“Of course, Madrid will be different because they are the biggest club in Spain but the only feeling I have is excitement.”
