The board of Barcelona have been angered by Gerard Pique’s involvement in Antoine Griezmann’s video where he confirmed his Atletico Madrid stay.
Diario AS cite a report from TV3 in Spain that Blaugrana chiefs have been angered by Pique publicising Griezmann’s ‘La Decision’ announcement on Thursday.
“Remember one thing,” wrote the defender on Twitter in the aftermath of the airing.
“There are going to be people who criticise it, because everything that's new generates those feelings.
“But the most important reflection that 'La Decisión' offers is that sometimes not everything they sell you is true.”
Barca’s board, led by Josep Maria Bartomeu, are also said to be dissatisfied with Samuel Umtiti – an international teammate of Griezmann’s – who spoke of eating popcorn whilst watching the decision.
The Spanish champions have no plans to release a statement regarding Griezmann, who committed his future to Atleti.
