Zinedine Zidane has confirmed he is ‘taking a break’ and has no plans for his future after stepping down as Real Madrid Coach.
The Frenchman guided Los Blancos to three consecutive Champions League titles but surprisingly stood down as the club’s boss at the end of May.
“Right now, I am taking a break,” Zidane told reporters at an event in Paris, in quotes carried by Diario AS.
“I do not know what I will do after, because at the moment the most important thing was the decision that I took.
“The future? We will see.”
The fresh quotes follow reports that Zidane had been offered €200m to lead Qatar into the 2022 World Cup, which is taking place in the Arab nation.
