La Liga president Javier Tebas believes Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann will not switch clubs this summer.
The Spanish league chief also believes football in the nation is now ‘less reliant’ on their star players, following on from Neymar’s Barcelona exit last summer.
“I believe Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Real Madrid while Antoine Griezmann will remain at Atletico,” Tebas said in an interview with Onda Cero, in quotes carried by Diario AS.
“What are the chances of Cristiano leaving? Out of 10, I would say a five or maybe even a four, I am not worried.
“Regardless of these moves, I do not think this is damaging for the league because we are becoming less reliant of our very best players.”
