Barcelona defender and Spain international Gerard Pique’s house was robbed in the city on Wednesday morning, say reports.
Stormy weather in the Catalan capital and the house lying empty – with Pique’s partner Shakira touring in Germany and the defender visiting family – provided the backdrop for the incident.
The Barca player’s house lies in the Esplugues de Llobregat suburb of the city and the culprits, who made out with jewels and watches, have not yet been identified, according to Diario AS.
