Real Madrid have completed the signing of Brazilian teenager Rodrigo Rodrigues from Gremio Novorizontino on a six-year deal.
The Sao Carlos native celebrated his 18th birthday last month and so is now free to move to Madrid, where he is expected to go straight into the Castilla side.
The attacking midfielder is set to link up with his compatriots Augusto Galvan and Vinicius in the youth ranks next season.
“This is a dream for me to wear the shirt of the world’s biggest club,” Rodrigues is cited as saying by Diario AS.
“This is the best club for me to develop as a player, I hope I can win plenty of trophies here and bring the fans a lot of joy.”
