‘Lewandowski wants Bayern exit’ – agent

The agent of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski – a reported transfer target for Real Madrid – has said his client wishes to leave the club.

The Poland international joined the Bavarians from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has since netted 151 goals in 195 appearances, winning four successive league titles.

“Robert feels that he needs a change and a new challenge in his career,” Pini Zahavi, the striker’s agent, is cited in quotes carried by Associated Press.

“His reasons are not money or a specific club, as nearly all top clubs would like to have the world’s best striker in their ranks.”

Bayern have previously ruled out selling the 29-year-old this summer.
