Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos insists that it is ‘hunger and ambition’ which are motivating the club ahead of another Champions League final.
Zinedine Zidane’s side are aiming for their third straight European title and their fourth in five years as they take on Liverpool in Kyiv on Saturday night.
“The key is hunger and ambition,” Ramos is cited as saying by Diario AS.
“We have a great squad of players who are in-form and we all know the direction we are going, there are no egos and we have a good locker room.
“You can change the names of the starting XI but you cannot change the aim, we are extraordinarily motivated and we have no doubts on what we are capable of achieving.
“We are a team with great pride and hunger to keep winning, it is a privilege to defend this title again and to continue making history.”
