Keylor Navas has praised Real Madrid for ‘making history’ and insists his side remain ‘very hungry’ for more European glory.
Los Blancos are aiming for their third consecutive Champions League final and their fourth trophy in five years after eliminating Bayern 4-3 on aggregate in this season’s semi-final stage.
“Right now we are making history,” Navas told reporters after the match.
“This is a team who keeps fighting and does not give up, always producing the performances when we need them.
“We are still very hungry to win more titles and more success, we remain motivated and know we must have full preparation and respect for our opponents.
“This was a very difficult game against a really strong side and we suffered a lot, but we are in the final and I am very happy.
“Bayern are a great team and can cause anyone lots of problem but we knew how to suffer and progress to where we want to be.”
