‘Depor believe in ourselves’ – Seedorf

Clarence Seedorf insists Deportivo La Coruna have hope of beating the drop ahead of the weekend clash with Leganes.

The Dutchman has guided Depor to seven points in their last three matches, to take them within four points of safety with five games remaining.

“Leganes will be harder than Atletico and Athletic, because against them it is clearer what you must do,” Seedorf is cited as saying by El Desmarque.

“Lega are such a complicated team because they are so well-drilled and everyone knows each others and has a strong work ethic.

“We showed a great balance against Sevilla and we must try to replicate it again because we deserved the win on Tuesday, we tried for it, and we must repeat this.

“I do not think I will make any changes as there is no need to, we played well and we now have time to recover.

“We do not need to go crazy chasing points, but we have momentum and things should come naturally and we are confident we can achieve our objectives.”
