Valencia want Raul de Tomas

Valencia are reportedly interested in signing in-form striker Raul de Tomas, currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano from Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old has netted 18 goals in 21 La Liga 123 starts for highflying Rayo this season, having joined the club on a season-long loan from Madrid in summer.

The striker – who has Dominican origin – sees his contract with the European Champions expire in June 2019 and the club are prepared to make a permanent sale this summer, say Marca.

De Tomas has spent the previous two seasons on loan at second-tier sides Cordoba and Real Valladolid.

Valencia want to sign the striker this summer to add competition to Rodrigo Moreno, Simone Zaza and Santi Mina in their attacking ranks.
