Gareth Bale has been ‘convinced’ by Jose Mourinho to join Manchester United in the summer transfer window, say reports in Spain.
The English giants launched an attempt to land the Welshman last summer which ultimately proved unsuccessful, but Diario Sport state they have now revived their interest.
It follows up on a report in Diario AS earlier this week which outlined how the 28-year-old will lead a host of summer exits from the Bernabeu.
The former Southampton and Tottenham man has had his season disrupted once more by injuries, but he has still managed nine La Liga goals in just 19 appearances.
However, his lack of sustained fitness had seen the European champions decisively opt to cash-in on him this summer to help reinvest in new signings, the report adds.
