Lionel Messi and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen both returned to Barcelona training on Thursday morning despite injury concerns, say reports in Spain.
Attacking star Messi missed Argentina’s friendly matches against both Italy and Spain over the international break with a muscular injury and Ernesto Valverde admitted on Wednesday he did not know the extent of his injury.
However, Diario Sport report the Argentine international took part in a full training session on Thursday morning, alongside Ter Stegen, for whom there had been concerns.
Gerard Pique also took part in training despite concerns over a potential knee injury, although Sergio Busquets was again unavailable.
Nelson Semedo and Denis Suarez were also back in action ahead of the weekend trip to Sevilla.
