Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo believes star forward Antoine Griezmann ‘is going to stay’ at the club beyond this summer.
The French forward has been linked with an exit from Los Rojiblancos this summer, with both Barcelona and Manchester United heavily linked with a move.
“As far as I know, Griezmann is going to stay at Atletico Madrid,” Cerezo told Cadena Cope.
“Nothing has changed in relation to his future – he has a contract with us and that is our stance.
“We know the World Cup is of huge importance to him and we will talk to him, of course.”
Earlier this week, the 26-year-old stated he wanted his future sorted before this summer’s World Cup.
