Report: Bayern rule out Lewandowski sale

Bayern Munich have ruled out the sale of star striker Robert Lewandowski to Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.

Last week, El Mundo Deportivo stated the Polish international’s agent Pini Zahavi has agreed a move with Madrid representatives, with only Bayern Munich’s sanctioning of the deal required.

The report continued that a two-year deal has been struck regarding payments with an option of a third included, but now German outlet Kicker have written off any suggestion of Bayern allowing the deal.

Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly been restrained over any such deal as he wished to see how their prospective move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar unfolded.

Lewandowski, 29, reportedly switched agent to Zahavi recently in order to drive a move to the Bernabeu through.

However, Kicker reports that Bayern are ‘only aware of interest from Man United, but none from Madrid’.
