Madrid target Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson

Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has emerged as a transfer target for European champion Real Madrid, according to reports.

The 18-year-old has been integrated into the Gunners first-team squad this season, making a total of 14 appearances including eight in the Europa League.

However, the winger’s contract at the Emirates Stadium expires in June 2019 and that has alerted Madrid and a number of other European clubs, Diario AS cites the London Evening Standard as reporting.

It follows on from Marcus McGuane’s move from Arsenal to Barcelona B, with Nelson said to be rated as the club’s most exciting youth prospect since Jack Wilshere’s emergence.

Madrid would be willing to make a cash offer for the player this summer.
