Arsenal put price tag on Bellerin

Arsenal have put a price tag of £50m on defender Hector Bellerin amid renewed reports of interest in the Spaniard, according to reports.

A report last month in The Guardian suggested the 22-year-old had become disillusioned with life at the North London club, and Juventus are prepared to launch a summer bid.

Now El Mundo Deportivo cite reports in England that the FA Cup holders rate the right-back at £50m (€56m) in order to ward off interest.

The Arsenal full-back was a long-term transfer target for Barcelona before the Catalan giants signed Benfica’s Nelson Semedo in the summer transfer window last year.

Bellerin is tied into a long-term deal at Arsenal until June 2022 but the club would be open to a sale this year as opposed to last year, due to the arrival of former Barca transfer chief Raul Sanlehi at the Emirates.

The Spaniard joined the Gunners in 2011 as a 16-year-old having graduated through Barca’s La Masia youth system.
