Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann is targeting a victory at the Camp Nou against Barcelona on Sunday to make it nine wins in a row.
The Frenchman netted all four goals as Atleti crushed Leganes 4-0 on Wednesday night as Diego Simeone’s side made it eight wins in a row in all competitions.
“I am pleased with my own performance but as always, the three points for the team is the most important aspect,” Griezmann told BeIn Sports after the match.
“It’s important as we now go to Barcelona and we are aiming to take a positive result from that match, it’s one of our 13 remaining matches which we are looking at and we want to win them all.
“Last summer? Maybe I made mistakes, it is possible in things that I say, or when I told the fans to be quiet, but I’m always trying to bring them joy.
“I’m very happy now and want to keep going, everybody at the club is happy and we have the fantastic support from the fans until the end.”
