Real Madrid are favourites to land Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski this summer, according to various reports.
The Poland international has recently changed agents to Pini Zahavi in order to engineer a summer transfer to Madrid, with the Israeli said to have an excellent rapport with the board of Los Blancos.
A report in The Independent in England states that Chelsea had sounded out the possibility of a deal for the former Borussia Dortmund striker, but were made aware of how advanced the European champions interest is.
The report states Madrid “want to bring in primary objective Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain along with a goalscorer and a new goalkeeper,” while president Florentino Perez is ‘a big fan’ of the Pole.
It follows a report in Sky Italia which states a deal could be concluded this summer.
