Juventus have completed a lot of groundwork in order to sign Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco in summer, claim reports in Spain.
A report in El Desmarque claims Atleti rejected initial approaches for a January exit due to their La Liga and Europa League priorities for the remainder of the campaign.
However, the Old Lady were said to be given encouragement that a deal could be struck in summer with the Belgian given less prominence under Diego Simeone compared to previous campaigns.
The January arrival of Vitolo has further decreased first-team opportunities for the former Monaco winger.
Carrasco has started only seven league games this season for Los Rojiblancos and despite having a €100m release clause, could be allowed to leave for significantly less.
