La Liga’s basement club Malaga have moved to strengthen their defence with the arrival of Belgian full-back Maxime Lestienne.
The 25-year-old, who normally operates in the left-back position, has arrived until the end of the current season from Russian club Rubin Kazan.
The defender spent six years in the Belgian top flight across spells with Mouscron and Club Brugge before stints with Genoa, PSV and the Russian club.
Lestienne has signed a deal with the struggling Andalucian club until June 2018 and was the second deadline day arrival after the loan deal for Watford striker Isaac Success.
