Real Betis defender Riza Durmisi wants to commit his long-term future to the club amid reports he has attracted interest from elsewhere.
The 24-year-old has excelled at Los Verdiblancos since joining from Brondby in the summer of 2016 but had previously been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer.
“My representatives are negotiating with the club to renew because really I am very happy here,” told reporters, as cited by Estadio Deportivo.
“The future of this club is very exciting and I want to play a part of it.”
The left-back has made 48 appearances for the Seville-based club, scoring twice – both against Sevilla.
